'She's a minx!' Edwina Currie, 68, almost pops out of her swimsuit as Jimmy Bullard drags her into the water during I'm A Celebrity pool party

It appears that Kendra Wilkinson, Melanie Sykes and Nadia Forde have some scorching hot competition in the Australian jungle.

As the sexy trio continue to show off their alluring curves in various skimpy outfits on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, they've been upstaged by an unlikely contestant - former Tory MP Edwina Currie.

During a CIA secret mission pool party on Sunday night's episode, the 68-year-old struggled to keep her ample bosom inside her polka dot swimsuit as fellow contestant Jimmy Bullard dragged her around in the water.

Giggling with delight as the halterneck straps on her outfit worked their hardest to protect her modesty, her co-stars laughed hysterically as they saw their unceremoniously drenched.

And as prankster Jimmy swept Edwina off her feet and tossed her around in the tepid water, he yelled: 'Politics, f**k politics!'

He also showed his admiration for John Major's former mistress, yelling 'She's a minx!' and he later added, 'She loved it.' 

Earlier in the episode, the CIA's four members learned they had one final assignment, which was to gather all of the celebrities together for a jungle pool party, with the aim to win the last remaining care package.

They agreed on creating the story that Kendra felt homesick and the others wanted to cheer her up with a pool party to celebrate Melanie getting nine meals for the camp that night.

However, the secret discussion was briefly halted when Michael Buerk was heard outside showering .

Once order was restored, Kendra, a former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, made her way to the sofa with a sad face, as Jake told the others her story and need for a party as a pick-me-up.

While there was general agreement to participate, Tinchy Stryder needed the most persuading, informing the group: 'I'm anti pool.

'I'll get involved, but I'm not getting in the pool. Everyone tells me it's so cold in there, it wasn't tickling my fancy. Me and cold don't mix like that.'

Once persuaded by a pleading Kendra, who promised that she'd get in if he did, the rapper was soon game and the group proceeded to jump into the water.

Newsman Michael later said: 'In many ways. I’d rather get into a pool with alligators than Jimmy and Jake but actually it was all good fun.'

After successfully completing the task, Kendra said: 'I can’t believe we got away with this - our evil little plan worked. If we can do the rest of the assignment successfully we’ll win. We have some acting skills and we did it!'

Edwina added: 'I’m not sure Kendra throwing a wobbly made that much of a difference. It always has to be about Kendra but never mind it worked.'
