GQ has declared 2014 'the year of the butt.'
So, of course, the magazine's Year in Hotness retrospective wouldn't be complete without Nicki Minaj and her voluptuous figure.
For
her feature, the rapper was photographed wrapping her bikini-clad
curves in a hose and licking her lips while laying in the grass.

To round out the shout out, GQ also recalled some highlights from her hit song, Anaconda.
Among
the lyrics, the magazine called attention to lines like: 'He toss my
salad like his name Romaine/ And when we done, I make him buy me
Balmain.'
Other
female stars who made the list of beauties included Beyonce, Cara
Delevigne, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, and Alexandra Daddio.
Up-and0comer: Alexandra Daddio was praised for her risque scene in True Detective
Anaconda: GQ recalled Nicki's Anaconda music video, featuring shots of her butt
Nicki's
honor comes after a cover story in the male-driven magazine last month
regarding her equally sexy, but more dialed back makeover recently.
'I
always thought that by the time I put out a third album, I would want
to come back to natural hair and natural makeup,' she told GQ, talking
about The Pinkprint, scheduled for release December 15.
'I
thought, I will shock the world again and just be more toned down. I
thought that would be more shocking than to keep on doing exactly what
they had already seen.'
Toned down: The rapper has gotten attention for her simpler style lately
A new woman: Once known for her bright wigs and outrageous body suits, Nicki now prefers sleek outfits
Despite
speculation that her praised music video had even raunchier undertones
than let on, Nicki insisted she was hoping to simply portray girls
having fun with one another.
'I
think the video is about what girls do. Girls love being with other
girls, and when you go back to us being younger, we would have slumber
parties and we’d be dancing with our friends,' she told GQ, innocently.
