Danniella Westbrook's search for a house has taken her back in time to a soap opera past
The
homeless actress was spotted on Brookside Close which was famously the
location for the Liverpool-based Channel 4 which ran for 21 years.
Danniella was checking out a house near to the famous road which formerly housed the Corkhills and the Dixons.

After
the set was sold off by Mersey Television to a property developer the
13 houses were gutted and the interiors rebuilt before making them
available to buy from january 2007.
Danniella is now eyeing a move up north after announcing that she lost her Kent home and is living in sheltered accommodation.
According
to the Daily Star, the former EastEnders actress, 41, recently looked
for a home to rent in the Liverpool neighbourhood of Walton, where homes
are available for sale for as little as £25,000.
Having
already spent time in the city as she shot scenes for her brief stint
on Hollyoaks last year, the mother-of-two is now reportedly considering a
long-term move there.

Making a move? Danniella, seen with
her on-again boyfriend Tom Richards, is reportedly looking to live in
the Liverpool neighbourhood of Walton, where homes are available for
sale for as little as £25,000
A
friend of the actress - who is also said to be interested in homes in
West Derby told the newspaper: 'Danniella loves Liverpool, she thinks
the people are really friendly and genuine.
'She
has lived in the city when working on Hollyoaks and feels a move might
be good for her. She's a fighter and wants to put this spell behind
her.'
Earlier
this month, the soap star spoke of money woes on This Morning, telling
the show: 'This year has been the worst year of my life. 'I’ve lost all
work, we’re in a bedsit, I go to food banks… I messed up.'

She
added: 'It’s a car crash… and I have to say, I thought that nearly
losing my life was the worst point of my life, but I think that this
year has been the worst year that I’ve ever had.'
The
troubled actress last appeared on This Morning three months ago, where
she admitted to relapsing on cocaine after 13 year of being clean - but
says she is now off the drug.
She
told Phillip Schofield, 'I was supposed to be in Torquay this Christmas
in panto and as soon as I got exposed they called and said "we can’t
possibly have her at our theatre"... and other work I had lined up, I’ve
lost because I’ve relapsed.

'So
because I didn’t have any work, and the work I did have lined up,
money-wise I couldn’t go and rent anywhere privately because I had no
funds.
'I have been to food banks this year because we haven’t had any money. It’s been very difficult.'
Over
the weekend, Danniella - who recently reunited with her toyboy lover
Tom Richards - announced that she was stepping away from social media,
explaining: 'Coming off of Twitter as the constant abuse & people
wishing me dead is tipping me over the edge. Have a good Christmas all'.
