Kym Marsh denies milking welfare system by renting her second home to her parents in exchange for £15,000 a year of their housing benefit

Kym Marsh has denied claims that she is being paid her parents' housing benefit because they rent her second home.
The Sun claimed that the 38-year-old is receiving £15,000 a year from dad David and mum Pauline for the bungalow in Runcorn, Cheshire, which is paid by the taxpayer.
But a spokesperson for the Coronation Street actress told MailOnline: 'Kym and her parents are appalled at the story in today's Sun.

'She has been left with no choice other than to instruct lawyers this morning to issue legal proceedings against the Sun immediately.
'As proceedings are now active, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further.'
The former Hear'Say singer earns a six-figure wage as Coronation Street barmaid Michelle Connor and is said to be worth £2million.
The paper reports that Kym bought the two-bedroom bungalow in 2006 for her parents at a cost of £135,000.

They add that the couple are legally entitled to claim up to £290-a-week in housing benefit and Kym would not be breaking any laws in renting the house out to them.
The actress currently lives in a five-bedroom house in Greater Manchester with her fiancé Dan Hooper, 31, and three children, David, 19, Emily, 17 and three-year-old Polly.
Kym recently revealed she's on 'cloud nine' following Dan's shock proposal at the start of the month in Amsterdam.

She told OK! magazine: 'We’re both very excited, I didn’t have a clue he was going to pop the question.
'I just thought he was taking me away for a romantic weekend because I’d been so busy at work and I’d been stressed out because of (daughter) Polly’s operation to remove her tonsils.’
Traditional Dan even took the old fashioned route before asking Kym to marry him.
‘Dan asked my dad for my hand in marriage beforehand, which I thought was very sweet,’ she revealed.
