White on the money! Gemma Merna turns heads in plunging off-the-shoulder dress and red peep-toes for dinner in Dubai

She distanced herself from her former Hollyoaks character Carmel McQueen by ditching her blonde tresses in favour of a darker 'do earlier this month.

And Gemma Merna's wardrobe is also getting more stylish by the day following her departure from the Channel 4 drama, as she enjoys some time off in Dubai after her final scenes aired.

The 30-year-old looked stunning in white as she made a beeline for the resort's Geales restaurant with husband Ian Minton on Thursday night.

Wearing her locks down and straight, Gemma added a flash of colour in the form of a heeled pair of red peep-toes. 

She finished off her look with a gold YSL clutch - a favorite among celebrities -  before cosying up to her man, who she wed in 2012.

Earlier in the week she had opted for more demure attire as she partied at the Zengo restaurant opening at Dubai's luxurious Le Royal Meriden Hotel.

Posing with Richard Sandavol, Gemma looked elegant in a navy gown with sheer straps and tie detailing around the waist.

The soap stunner previously took to Twitter to tell fans about leaving Hollyoaks, writing: 'I’ve had a great time being part of the show and I’m excited to push myself and explore new avenues.'

Episode End Of The Line saw Gemma's character fight for her life after being involved in a dramatic train accident.

Everyone had been in high spirits as they marked Porsche McQueen’s wedding on board a train.

She told fans afterwards: 'Well what an amazing last episode for @CarmelMcqueen thank you so much to @Hollyoaks @Channel4 for the past 8 years & such an amazing cast & crew will miss you guys millions.'(Sic)
