New couple alert? Taylor Swift 'exchanges phone numbers' with The 1975 frontman Matt Healy... and he says: 'I wouldn't say no'

It sounds as if love could be in the air for Taylor Swift who appears to be enjoying a very public courtship with The 1975 frontman Matt Healy.

The Begin Again singer attended a concert with BFF Selena Gomez last week and has been seen spotted wearing the band's t-shirt.

And during an interview with Australian radio show Shazam Top 20 this week, Matt revealed the potential couple had exchanged phone numbers adding: 'I wouldn't say no.'

British Matt, 25, who wore a Taylor Swift 1989 shirt on stage earlier this month, told how he and the Grammy award winner had met in October.

'We exchanged numbers,' he told host Angus O'Loughlin. 'Let's see what happens, she's a sensation.' 

When the DJ referred to the pair as 'a hot new celebrity couple', the 25-year-old joked, 'You’re calling that, are you? Let’s just see what happens.'

After the band's LA concert last week Taylor posted a video on her instagram account of her and Selena smiling and singing along. 

The camera pans between the girls and Matt performing on stage in the short grainy film.  

She captioned the posting with a flirtatious line from The 1975's hit The City. It read: 'Yeah you wanna find love? Then you know where the city is.'

It's not the first time the songstress has fallen for a British rocker.

In late 2012 she dated One Direction's Harry Styles before the couple broke up the following January amid rumors of his wandering eye.

According to sources speaking to Vanity Fair he pursued her for a year before they began dating.

'He wore her down. He was all like, ‘You’re amazing - I want to be with you. I want to do this.’

But then the relationship fell apart after a photo of him kissing another girl was published.
