Busta Rhymes suffers head injury during New York concert... but insists he is doing 'super good'

 


Busta Rhymes suffered a head injury during a recent performance in New York.
The rapper, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr., fell off the stage and was left with a head wound during a concert in New York's Webster Hall early Friday morning.
The legendary hit maker made a surprise appearance at O.T. Genasis's show and slipped off the platform and into the crowd while he was leaning into the pit.

Following the fall, he rushed backstage to get his wound treated and never returned to the stage, according to TMZ
Later in the day, he went on Twitter to confirm that the injury, while bloody, was not serious and he would make a full recovery.

'We done fell off stages and broke limbs while performing and kept gong!!! We stay on level 10...' he assured in multiple tweets. 
Busta will perform again on New Year's Eve for Dubai's #DXBNYE alongside Pharrell Williams and Charli XCX. 
His raps will be accompanied by Burj Khalifa fireworks during the star-studded and faraway holiday event.
The hip hop icon rose to fame in 1996 with the album, The Coming, and has since earned multiple Grammy nominations for his work.
