'Tell them to f**k off': Sam Taylor-Johnson hits back at critics over 23 year age gap between her and husband Aaron


When they began dating in 2009 and announced their engagement soon after they were faced with a lot of criticism due the 23 year age gap between them.
Hitting back at her naysayers, 'f**k off' are the only two words Sam Taylor-Johnson has for those who speak bad of her marriage to Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
In a candid interview with Red, the Fifty Shades Of Grey director, 47, opens about the pressure she faced transforming the erotic romance novel into a film and love.

Sam met the Kick-Ass star when they worked together on the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy and the rest is history. 
Speaking about what she has to say back when people say negative things about her relationship, she said: 'Tell them to f**k off!

Aaron was just 19 when he began dating Sam, then 42, but the pair ignored their critics marrying in June 2012 at a lavish ceremony in Babington House, Somerset.

The couple now have two children together, Wylda Rae, four, and Romy Hero, two.
Meanwhile, Sam has two daughters from her 11-year marriage to art dealer Jay Jopling, Angelica, 17, and Jessie Phoenix, eight.
Last June it was announced the Sam will be sitting in the director chair and turning EL James' hit novel into a film.
Now that the motion picture is due to hit cinemas in less than a month, Taylor-Johnson revealed to the publication that the type around movie has taken its toll.
She said: 'I’m literally going out of my mind. I have seen this film over a thousand times and I’m now in a blancmange. 
'But the nuances within, the tiniest shift, look, blink of an eye, can make all the difference and flip it into the wrong territory.'
The mother-of-four added: 'It’s like walking a knife edge'.
Assuring fans of the book that she has stuck to the story at hand, she continued: 'I’ve practically eaten it. I have read it over and over'.
In an effort to make the upcoming flick a success, Taylor-Johnson also told how she fought to maintain creative control.
'I want to protect my vision and that’s the hardest thing. There are so many voices.
She continued: 'You have to try and keep all those people at bay. You think, you hired me because I’m a creative artist with a vision. Don’t try and knock it out of me.'
