'He looks very good': David Beckham throws his support behind Justin Bieber's new Calvin Klein underwear ad

While Justin Bieber has been mocked and praised in large measures for his recently unveiled Calvin Klein underwear advert, one star in his corner is retired football hero David Beckham.
The 39-year-old sportsman, who stripped down to his pants for such fashion giants as Emporio Armani and H&M, has admitted he's impressed with the 20-year-old pop star's modelling efforts.
'Not bad, not bad, not bad,' the husband of Victoria Beckham told E!. 'He looks good in his underwear ads. He looks very good.'

When assured by his interviewer, Marc Malkin, that he also looked good, David laughed as he responded: 'Thank you, but I'm slightly older.'
Shortly after the ad's unveiling, Mark Wahlberg's wife Rhea Durham weighed in with her opinion, saying that the newcomer paled in comparison to her husband's 1992 CK campaign.
The 36-year-old model tweeted: 'My baby was the 1st and the best and not to mention…..wow the retouching.'

With continued questions over whether his Calvin Klein underwear ad has been digitally enhanced, Justin faced more skewering at the hands of Saturday Night Live earlier this month.
And while the laughs may have been raised at his expense, the singer proved that he has a sense of humour when he tweeted the show's team to show his appreciation.
'Well played. Lol,' he wrote to the show's official account on the micro-blogging site a day later, after they shared a link to the viral clip.

SNL regular Kate McKinnon aimed some jabs Justin's way as she channelled the Canadian star.
Pouting, flexing and preening, comedienne Kate made a fine job of impersonating the pop heart-throb's myriad of Instagram posts.
‘Are my muscles cute?’ she asked before sniffing her own armpit and gagging at the stench.
