But Justin Bieber was back in his favourite beachside playground on Wednesday as he headed to the studio with Austin Mahone.
The young pop star certainly seemed glad to be back, visiting The Hit Factory for a recording session.

Wearing a cap, T-shirt and necklace, Bieber was seen walking to his waiting car, followed by his close friend, actor Kyle Massey, and a group of friends.
At least he was not behind the wheel - a driver could be seen waiting at the wheel.
Bieber might have been expected to steer clear of the temptations of the Miami party scene, as just three months ago he was arrested for drunk driving and resisting arrest while allegedly drag racing in the city.

Police formally detained the 20-year-old as he drove a bright yellow Lamborghini at up to 60mph in a 30mph speed limit zone while allegedly racing Def Jam rapper Khalil Sharief, who was driving a Ferrari.
Shortly after the arrest, Police Chief Raymond Martinez confirmed that the performer used the F word repeatedly after being stopped and kept putting his hands in his pocket. Bieber was later released on a bail set at $2,500.

But with his lawyers thought to be working out the final details of a plea deal, Bieber is back in town.
And his fans will be delighted to see him at work with Austin.
The Baby singer, 20, and the 17-year-old often referred to as 'the next Justin Bieber' both posted the same picture of them in the studio together earlier on Wednesday.

Austin seemed to be excited for the project as he captioned the image: 'What an amazing song last night..The world isn't ready! @justinbieber.'
A source revealed to Us Weekly that the two had previously built up a mutual respect for one another: 'Austin and Justin have met before and they really respect each other's music.'
A second source for the weekly said: 'Justin happened to be in the same studio with Birdman.
'Austin was in the studio next door recording a song that Justin wrote.'

Austin signed with Young Money last September and because he and Justin work with a lot of the same producers, the Beauty And A Beat singer knew that the teenage star was working on his album.
An insider for MTV explained: 'Justin had a song he thought could be really perfect to do with Austin so they got together in the studio.'
The two share more than just a similar fan base and the last five letters in their first names as they both have been romantically linked to 21-year-old Selena Gomez.

Justin has had an on and off relationship with the former Disney starlet for years, but in January Austin was rumoured to be dating her.
However the Mmm Yeah singer quickly dispelled those assumptions as he explained that their relationship was completely platonic.
'Were just friends,' he told People. 'She's really cool.'
The 17-year-old added: 'I mean, I think she's really pretty but every time I'm in L.A., she's like, "Hey you're in L.A., lets hang out." So it's cool.'
