NextJames Franco allegedly sent Instagram
and text messages to a 17-year-old schoolgirl on Tuesday night, asking
if he should rent a hotel room for the two of them.
And the timing is nothing if not interesting, as the very same day a new HD trailer for the actor's latest movie Palo Alto was released.
In the film, James plays a creepy soccer coach known as Mr. B. who attempts to seduce his 14-year-old babysitter (Emma Roberts).

Director Gia Coppola adapted the 35-year-old Oscar nominee's 2010 collection of short stories into the film.
The trailer sees James passionately kissing Emma while she is in her underwear.
While similar to the trailer that was previously released to promote the movie, the new version has a different beginning.
Things take a dark turn and we see the Spring Breakers hunk tell the 23-year-old actress: 'I'm older and I know that there aren't a lot of good things around and I know that you are really good,' before kissing her.
The film focuses primarily on privileged Palo Alto-area teens looking for trouble, including sex, drinking, drugs, and suicide.
As April, Emma is seen playing soccer, swimming, drinking at a party, and suggestively stripping off her camisole.
The We're the Millers actress - whose aunt is Julia Roberts - has most recently starred in American Horror Story, alongside her fiance Evan Peters, but Palo Alto could be a breakthrough role for her.
The schoolgirl was in New York and went to watch the star on Broadway in Of Mice And Men, where she waited outside the theatre to meet her idol and promptly shared a selfie in which he appears in the background on Instagram.
According to the messages, James struck up a conversation with the teen on the social networking site and it wasn't long before he apparently asked her how old she is, who she is staying with and whether she has a boyfriend.
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Mr. Franco for comment.
