He's sported a close crop of curls for the last few years.
But it seems Lewis Hamilton has been taking trend advice from his style-conscious girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, debuting an edgy new barnet to mingle with the fashion pack at Paris Fashion Week.
The Formula One champion was rocking shaved sides and a gravity defying quiff as he arrived at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall/Winter 2015-2016 show on Thursday.

With matching diamond studs in each earlobe and designer shades, Lewis looked more like a pop star than a sportsman as he worked the cameras like a pro.
The 30-year-old star showed off his style credentials by smartening up in a slim-fitting navy suit.
Lewis was also rocking the trendy new look during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie event in Geneva, Switzerland earlier in the week.

The 2014 BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner was sporting an even more daring look at the IWC 'Journey To The Stars' Gala Dinner on Tuesday.
He donned a pair of geek chic glasses and a wacky leather weave blazer, paired with a pair of grey suit trousers with vertical stripes around one leg.
Lewis has been inseparable from Nicole of late, with the lovebirds - who have been on/off since 2007 - ringing in the New Yea together.

The sportsman has no doubt had a lot of making up to do after he was caught out during a BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw for not knowing one of his own girlfriend's songs.
The radio DJ asked him to guess the artists behind each snippet of tracks he played - and the only one he missed was Nicole's song Scream, with top producer Timbaland.
He was able to immediately identify Timbaland, but - before hearing the vocals - guessed it was a track performed by Justin Timberlake.
After being corrected, Lewis cringed and told Nick: 'I can’t believe you did that to me. I’m going to get it when I get home!
