Justin Bieber is reportedly going to sleep rough to raise awareness for the homeless.
The
Canadian pop star, 20, is expected to spend a night on the streets of
California at the urging of his manager Scooter Braun, according to the Daily Star.
They
claim Scooter is trying to find a way to rehabilitate Justin's profile
to show a compassionate side many believe has yet to be seen.
Rough rider: Justin Bieber will apparently sleep on the streets to raise awareness for homeless youths
Rehabilitation: After a turbulent year, Justin certainly needs some positive PR
'[Scooter] has been trying to come up with a plan to give Justin's career some longevity,' a source said.
'As soon as Justin's fans grow up, it's a worry that he'll fall off the map. This seems like a solution.'
Braun
himself is a big supporter of homeless charities, as is his father
Ervin Braun who recently slept rough in New York to raise awareness for
the cause.
Showing
his support for a charity can only improve Justin's already tarnished
public image, after a year which has seen him have his first ever police
mugshot, get charged with DUI, be accused of speeding and get caught on
camera peeing into a restaurant's mop bucket.
The
singer, who recently bleached his hair blonde, has also be seen
stepping out with a new girl after splitting yet again with on/off
girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Bieber
has been hanging out a lot with Hailey Baldwin - daughter of actor
Stephen - though he denies a romance, Selena is said to be
'heartbroken'.
'Selena
is absolutely heartbroken that Justin is falling so hard for Hailey.
She still had hopes that he would reach out to her before the new year
to try and reconcile,' an insider told HollywoodLife.com.
'She's
agonizing over her decision to play hard to get with him because she
thinks it backfired. She was diligent about not accepting his calls or
responding to his texts and now it's like he's completely moved on with
Hailey and has forgotten about her.'
