The 18-year-old sweet voiced singer celebrated February 14 with a sweet snap of her cuddling her long term beau, photographer James Lowe, 26.

The shot, uploaded to Instagram on Sunday, reveals the Royals singer dressed in a white sundress as she wraps her arm around her man, their bodies touching as they sit side by side with their faces hidden from the camera.

Meanwhile, James, also a kiwi native, returned the favour posting an equally heart warming picture of him cuddling a bikini-clad Lorde, her face out of shot while they enjoy a day by the water.

Echoing his sweetheart's sentiment, James wrote beside the shot: 'happy valentines'.
