'I can't stop smiling!' Lady Gaga still cannot believe she is engaged to Taylor Kinney as she shares more details about the custom diamond ring's very personal touches

It has been five days since she said 'yes' and Lady Gaga cannot stop gushing about her new bling or the man that put it on her finger.

On Wednesday, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to show her ring in stunning detail.

The heart shaped diamond ring was already pretty impressive when she debuted on social media a few days after her love Taylor Kinney got down on one knee on Valentine's Day.

However, the back of the ring is certainly breaks from the usual plain band and maybe an engraved message.

The Born This Way singer's engagement ring - which was designed by jeweller to the stars Lorraine Schwartz - features a diamond studded setting and band with a message created in the precious stones.

Forgoing an engraved message Taylor had the letters T and S separated by a heart symbol put onto the band's base to represent Taylor loves Stefani (Gaga's real name).

Posting the picture on Instagram, the pop star captioned the image to explain in more detail about her ring.

She said: 'My favorite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed 'T [hearts] S' in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I'm such a happy bride-to-be! I can't stop smiling!'

The singer first revealed she was engaged to her beau of four years on Instagram on Monday with a picture of her sparkler with the words 'He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!' 

The newly-engaged couple were seen celebrating afterwards with a romantic dinner at Lady Gaga's family restaurant Joanne Trattoria on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

It was there the couple broke the news to Gaga’s parents Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis revealed as he just happened to be there when it happened.

He told US Weekly that they were not trying to keep their engagement a secret and openly celebrated in the restaurant. 

‘Gaga and Taylor were hanging out at the bar and Taylor looked kind of sheepish, like almost any guy would be, where he's with his future in-laws and she's showing off the ring,’ he said.

‘They were like any other couple; she's showing off the ring and the dad is popping champagne and the groom-to-be is seeming somewhat nervous by all the excitement.’

‘The family seemed very, very happy and very excited,’ he added. 

And there's no wonder Gaga is smiling, with her dazzling diamond is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

While she would not reveal the price designer, Lorraine said it is worth more than people can imagination.

The designer, who is responsible for numerous celebrity engagement rings including Beyoncé’s and Kim Kardashian’s, told InStyle: 'The stone is big and quite beautiful, and actually more expensive than some of the estimates I have read.

'It’s a challenge to get an excellent heart shape with perfections - the shoulders of the gem have to be totally symmetrical; Lady Gaga’s is all that.'
