They've come back around several times before, and the Backstreet Boys are set to return once again.
The
five-piece boy band have revealed, no doubt much to their fans'
delight, that they will be recording new music together this year.
The
US band - featuring J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin
Richardson and Brian Littrell - last released In a World Like This in
2013, their eighth studio album.
Backstreet's back... again! The
Backstreet Boys appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday to reveal their
plans for new music later this year
And they have now promised to get back into the studio later this year.
During
an appearance on ITV's daytime show Loose Women, they said: 'Our music
is always evolving. We're getting ready to go back into the studio later
this year.'
As
well as a new album for their fans, the I Want it That Way hitmakers
admitted they recently agreed to a deal with concert promoters Live
Nation to perform 150 tour dates around the world in the near future.
The singers added: 'We just signed a deal with Live Nation to do 150 shows in the next three years.'
Fun times: The US pop group have been
together for over 20 years, but are clearly still as close as ever, as
they bonded on the ITV daytime show
Fancy that! The Loose Women presenters appeared quite taken with the Backstreet Boys, who range in age from 35 to 43
The group added their best piece of advice for new boy bands is to always communicate with their bandmates.
'Communication
was probably the biggest saviour for us. We all came from individual
backgrounds, but when you're in a team, it's not about 'I', it's about
the 'we'.
'There's a lot of give and take, you have to become almost selfless when you're in a group,' they added, collectively.
The
group, who rose to fame back in 1996, are currently in the UK to
promote their new movie Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of,
which will hit UK cinemas on Thursday.
Big moment: (L-R) Nick Carter, Howie
Dorough, Brian Littrel, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson attended the
London screening of their movie Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're
Made Of on Wednesday
The
documentary film takes an in-depth look at their illustrious career,
from the mid-1990s until the making of their last album in 2013.
On Wednesday, the five men - who range in age from 35 and 43 - also attended a photocall ahead of the screening of their film.
The
five singers have been united for two decades, and it's fair to say
their image and musical style has changed somewhat over the years.
They've come a long way: BSB - pictured in 1997 - have changed dramatically, but still have legions of fans across the globe
