Electra sisters Jazzy and Ruby King proved to be a controversial choice
when they were selected to be among the 16 finalists on this year's X
Factor.
And
weeks after their elimination, they've put themselves firmly back in
the spotlight for sharing what was perceived to be a rather
inappropriate kiss during the show's grand final on Sunday.
The
eccentric siblings, who were the first of the finalists to be booted
off the show, took to the stage to perform with all of the returning and
remaining acts when they decided to lock lips.

Dressed
in high-waisted miniskirts with glittering bra tops with braces, the
duo shared their kiss within feet of Mel B and their former mentor Louis
Walsh, who seemed bemused as he looked on.
And
while it might be quite some time until he shares his opinion on the
matter, fans took to Twitter within seconds to express their outrage.
'BLONDE ELECTRA. You should NOT kiss your sister like that,' tweeted radio personality Lucy Horobin.

Tracy Ann Oberman wrote on the micro-blogging site: 'While family on
the bed watching #XFactorFInal even the dog looked up and snorted at the
Blonde Electra kiss #awkward.'
Soon
after their October elimination from the ITV ratings juggernaut, the
sisters spoke to MailOnline about leaving the show so early in the
competition.

Jazzy,
24, said: 'Leaving week one was a bit of a shock, I didn't think we'd
leave this soon. But we knew it was coming and week one, week six, it
doesn't really make a difference.
'I'm
so proud of the both of us, we desperately wanted to get into the live
shows and we did. We don't care - we're just happy we got through this
far.'
Ruby,
22, added: 'We took the show one day at a time and we just had fun, and
that's all that matters to us. We were ourselves and we had so much fun
on the show.
'And
I think we nailed Kids In America with the theme. I loved the hula
hoops and the dress and the green eyebrows. It was incredible and it
really represented who we were.'
