And Ellie Goulding seems to have one very close pal in her pop peer Rita Ora.
The Your Song hitmaker turned 28 on Tuesday and fellow chart hitmaker Rita was among the many celebrities who reached out to wish her a happy birthday.

Ellie's boyfriend Dougie Poynter, who also wished the singer many happy returns on the social media site.
He shared a glamorous promo shot of his girl, and wrote: 'Happy birthday to my very lovely and special lady.'
Even Ellie herself was busy sharing snaps online on her birthday.

With her dark shoulder length hair styled in a fringe, the Anything Could Happen star is almost unrecognisable.
Happy to share the image with her followers on the app, Goulding captioned the shot: 'Birthday. Here's me- age unknown'.

More recently, the couple enjoyed their first Christmas together which was heavily documented on Instagram throughout the day.
