'He's a cheater and big player': Mama June hits out at Sugar Bear after trying to work on relationship... following reports she 'dated child molester'

Mama June has hit out at on-off beau Sugar Bear in a recent Facebook posting.

The 35-year-old called Sugar 'a cheater and big player' in a post warning other women that the man she married in an unofficial wedding on TV was not to be trusted.

The reality star (real name June Shannon) was reported to be working things out with Sugar Bear (aka Mike Thompson) following a scandal allegedly linking her to convicted child molester Mark McDaniel.

The mother-of-four wrote on her personal Facebook page that Sugar 'has already scammed many girls on here to fell in love with them. (sic)'

Adding: 'So baby if u think u r his one in only u r wrong big time.' 

The posting comes after Mama June was said to be 'working on her relationship' with former partner Sugar.

Sugar Bear denies cheating on Mama June (Archive)

The Honey Boo Boo matriarch split from the father of youngest daughter Alana earlier this year amid reports she had embarked on a relationship McDaniel.

TMZ reported that Sugar Bear had moved back into the family home in McIntyre, Georgia but June said at the time that the pair do not yet consider themselves 'back together'.

June told the website that that it 'will take a lot of work to regain his trust' in the wake of her relationship with McDaniel, which left Sugar Bear 'hurt.' However,Thompson was apparently prepared to try to make a go of things with June.

Their relationship appeared to be over as recently as last month when June told Dr. Phil in a televised interview that Sugar Bear had 'cheated and hurt me a lot.' She added that she was no longer 'in love with him.'

TLC cancelled the family's hit reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, following reports of June's alleged relationship with McDaniel.

She initially denied TMZ reports that she had seen McDaniel after his release from prison in March but now admits she lied.

'I'm human, I made mistakes and done wrong, but no one is perfect,' she told the website, maintaining she no longer has any contact with McDaniel.

June previously claimed she had only seen McDaniel since his release - once coincidentally and once to give her daughter, Pumpkin, some closure because she believed he was her father.

In a televised interview with Dr Phil earlier this month, June added that McDaniel has 'moved on,' saying: 'He's got a girlfriend and it's not me.'

She claimed that at least one of the photos showing them together since his release earlier this year has been photoshopped. 

McDaniel served 10 years in prison for molesting a child. June's daughter Anna also claimed, in a separate case, that she was abused by the man when she was eight. But her allegations did not lead to a conviction.

Following the alleged abuse in 2002, Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell told police that McDaniel had abused her repeatedly, sometimes while Pumpkin, then three, was in bed next to her.
