She’s used to spending Christmas in the chilly US winter.
And as she enjoys the run up to the festive season in Sydney’s summertime, Katy Perry is starting to get into the spirit.
The
pop superstar, who is currently on her Prismatic World Tour Down Under,
left The Sydney Opera House after watching The Nutcracker Ballet on
Thursday night looking very glamorous.

Dressed
in a black velvet figure-hugging dress, Katy certainly looked the part
in the frock which delicately showed off her shoulders.
Clearly moved by the performance, Katy Tweeted her followers, writing:
‘Saw
the most exquisite production of The Nutcracker by the Australian
Ballet at The Sydney Opera house! Finally, it feels like Christmas.’

According to sources, Katy later headed out to the Opera bar which reopened on Thursday night after short closure.
The
30-year-old raven haired star looked elegant as she was seen walking
up the stairs of the famous Opera House in the outfit, which she teamed
with a gold belt and pair of black heels with fishnet stockings.
Earlier on in the day, Katy was seen doing some last minute Christmas shopping in Sydney’s trendy Surry Hills.

Although her hair was in the same ponytail style, Katy has looked notably dressed down in comparison to her evening attire.
As
she had walked along with only a pair of black Wayfarers to hide her
identity, the Fireworks singer looked like any other Sydneysider as she
wore a black animal print dress with a big brown cardigan.
Katy,
who has been in Australia for the last month, will perform her last

As
well as playing two more Sydney gigs on Friday and Saturday night she
