just 48 hours left to go, the show has now been thrown into chaos as
the former Spice Girl is yet to reveal what is wrong with her and
refuses to come to contact with her act Andrea Faustini.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a source said: ‘Poor Andrea is feeling abandoned. He is already nervous about the final.
‘The poor lad is having to fend for himself backstage in the run-up to the biggest night of his life.
The insider added: ‘But Mel can’t help it. She is so poorly and may have to miss the final altogether’.
An X Factor spokesperson told the publication: ‘There’s a chance she won’t make it, absolutely’.

Thursday afternoon however, her fellow judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
was on hand to show support for Mel’s act.

singer also cleared up the rumours that the pair no longer get along
behind-the-scenes as she said: ‘Why are you coughing? Why would there be
tension?’
She
continued: ‘We are very straight talking. Our approach is obviously
very different on the show. Woman to woman. There was no calling out as
such, it's something I would say to her.
‘You
get into that moment where you're passionate about your acts but it's
not personal. In fact it's the least personal it's ever been this year.’
Andrea
spoke fondly of his mentor as he said: ‘Having Mel as a judge has been
amazing. I can say I found a friend in Mel more than a judge. She
literally did anything to make me feel at home.’
Civil relationship: Cheryl admitted,
