She's a former politician - and she's outta there! Edwina Currie fails to make the final of I'm A Celebrity after being voted off in fourth place

Edwina Currie has become the first finalist to be evicted from the I'm A Celebrity camp.
The former MP, who was a late arrival into the jungle with Jake Quickenden, was evicted from the Australian jungle on Saturday night in a very respectable fourth place.
The matraich figure, who clashed with both Melanie Sykes and Kendra Wilkinson, was visibly delighted to be relieved of her duties.

The Liverpool-born contestant was swiftly escorted to the interview panel with Ant and Dec, where she discussed her time on the show.
'It's physically hard down there,' she confessed. 'I've done a fair bit of camping, but normally we have a proper toilet, sheets and a bed - but we had none of that down there.'
'Having to get the Thatcher question wrong was particularly painful and difficult to swallow - not least because I had to be convincing.'

Speaking about her conflict with Kendra Wilkinson, she said it was a power play - which she won.
'She'd been holding the fort for so long that she thought she was running the show,' Edwina said.
'I suspect that, in her life, she's never been challenged before. She probably expects people to back down when she's criticised - but I don't do that. And she was lost.'

She the went on to discuss her spat with Melanie Sykes, who claims to be independent - even though she co-parents with the father of her children.
'My experience is that you're never really independent,' she asserted in retrospect.
'Mel wanted to do everything and do all the cooking, but you have to share. You need to delegate. Both in the jungle and in life.'
Discussing her flirty behaviour with the men, she agreed that the male company was 'wonderful' and that she wants Jake Quickenden to win.
The remaining contestants are Jake, Melanie Sykes and Foggy.
