Rosario Dawson rumoured to have 'adopted a 12-year-old girl'

Rosario Dawson has allegedly adopted a 12-year-old girl, according to a new report.
Page Six claims the actress became a mother to the preteen in October. MailOnline has contacted a representative for Miss Dawson for comment.
It is a cause close to 35-year-old Rosario's heart - she was adopted by her stepfather when she was just a year old.

The Sin City star's mother Isabel gave birth at the age of 16, and after the biological father disappeared from their life, she married Greg Dawson.
Rosario told You magazine in 2007: 'He's always been my dad. He loved my mum and he loved me. That was really amazing. He was strong for a young man of just 21.'
The actress has spoken in the past about her intention to adopt children.

In 2008 she told Latina magazine: 'I always wanted to adopt kids because my dad adopted me. That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more.
'My mother and grandmother are extraordinary women, and they’re getting older. It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going, "Your grandma was an amazing woman; I really wish you could’ve known her."
'That makes me sad because it would be a waste to not have these people know each other. Whatever time I have, I want it.'

Rosario does a lot of charity work to help those in need, including orphans, and hosted a gala to raise funds for OAfrica in October - the same month she allegedly adopted a daughter.
The star split from Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle in the spring of 2013 after almost a year of dating.
Rosario is currently promoting Top Five alongside Chris Rock, which follows a comedian trying to make it as a serious actor. The film will be released on December 12.
