'It's a fabrication': Mel B denies lesbian relationship with pal Christa Parker... after it's claimed they shared intense romance

She has admitted to enjoying a four-year relationship with a woman, but her rep has denied claims that the woman was Christa Parker, who today made romantic claims about Spice Girl Mel B.

Christa, 42, opened up about her sexual relationship with the 39-year-old, saying they fell in love when their children became friends 10 years ago.

Mel's lesbian confession last week prompted Christa to come forward with details of the time they shared, saying it was 'fun and exciting and very erotic,' though Mel's spokesperson has called it a 'fabrication'.

The X Factor judge's rep claims: 'Mel has never been in a relationship with Christa. Any suggestion that she has is fabrication.' 

Christa, who was married at the time of the alleged relationship, went into detail about the four years she spent with Mel in The Sun On Sunday, claiming the former Scary Spice was the leading force in their relationship.

She said: 'Everything was intense between us. There is no doubt that i fell in love with Melanie and she fell in love with me.'

The pair are said to have met at the school gates in Hollywood and while Christa had no history with women, Mel has admitted to dating females in the past.

Mel and Christa hung out regularly for the first few months, the business manager explained, until she claims that one night their close friendship turned into something more. 

'One night,' Christa recalled. 'While we were talking out on the deck [of Mel's Hollywood mansion], one thing led to another and it happened. I got into Mel's bed and she followed me in there. She told me, "I'm horny shall we make love?" I said "OK"?'

Christa went on to explain how she and Mel held the husband and wife dynamic in their lesbian relationship. 

'Melanie is very dominant and was more like the man. She was very "take charger" and spontaneous and would take me by the hand and say "come on, let's do this."'

Mel's people have remained strong that it wasn't Christa that Mel was talking about when she confessed, 'I had a girlfriend. So what? I did have a four-year relationship with a woman' to The Guardian last week.

The woman in question is thought to be called Christine rather than Christa. 

'People call me lesbian, bisexual or heterosexual,' she went on to say. 'But I know who's in my bed...'

That four year relationship is one that Mel still holds dear, she says, despite having been happily married into a heterosexual relationship with Stephen Belafonte since 2007. 

In February, Mel told Attitude magazine: 'I had a great four-year relationship with a lovely lady who I still talk to to this day, and that’s that.'
