'I want to move on': NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey friends again after ugly falling out on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta

A disastrous dinner party recently saw the knives come out between sworn enemies NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey.
But on Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta they kissed and made up – for now.
During an emotional episode of the Bravo reality show, NeNe and Cynthia broke down in tears as they agreed to a fresh start after talking through their troubles.

'For the first time in months I saw the wall come down and I have to say I'm pretty optimistic that we can get this friendship back on track,' Cynthia told the camera.
NeNe, however, appeared less convinced.
'When people do me wrong I have a very difficult time letting them close to me again,' she said.

Cynthia and NeNe fell out during the last season of the Real Housewives, when NeNe called Cynthia's husband Peter Thomas a 'b****'.
Viewers watched the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant storm out of a dinner party after an explosive row with Cynthia.
'I never thought that you would take your damn friendship and throw it away in front of people who could care less about whether we were friends or not,' NeNe shouted.

'I actually thought you were a real f***ing friend. I had your back when nobody else had your f***ing back. Recall that. I loved you like a sister Cynthia,' NeNe told her.
Talking to the camera, she added: 'I want her to truly understand the way that she has hurt me. I'm just shocked and appalled at her behaviour, trying to blindside me in front of a group of people that I feel did care if we had a friendship or not. I will never respect her for that.'
Their fellow stars on the reality show left the room to give Cynthia and NeNe, who eventually returned to the table, an opportunity to talk through their problems.

'I just felt like you were pulling away and then I was pulling away,' Cynthia said. 'I would never ever call Gregg a b****. I'm hurt, I'm human, I have feelings.'
She explained to the camera: 'Our friendship really started to break down with the whole Peter b**** comment. I tried to get over it, I tried to move on, but I feel like there are certain lines that just can't be crossed.'
She added: 'Bottom line is NeNe hates to be called out, hates to be wrong and instead of talking about it we just finally got to the point where it broke. It did not happen overnight.'
The pair eventually agreed to bury the hatchet, with Cynthia telling NeNe; 'I just want to continue to be friends and continue to support each other like we used to.'
'I just want us to move on,' NeNe said.
'I want to move on too,' Cynthia agreed.

After returning home to their husbands, however, it seemed their friendship was still up in the air.
While NeNe confessed to husband Gregg that she would prefer to keep Cynthia at arm's length, Peter told his wife he was shocked they had made up.
'This chick used to go calling you 10, 15 times a day, did a bunch of foul things – really foul things – and all of a sudden you meet up with her and then you hug and kiss and you don't want to hold her accountable to the bulls*** that she did?' he said.
'You're going to have to sit down and she's really going to have to respect the friendship. If you don't treat this right you're going to look like a punk,' Peter warned.

After smoothing things over with NeNe, Cynthia flew to New York to walk in a fashion week runway show for designer friend Kithe Brewster.
But her confidence was rocked when Brewster made comments about her weight and walk.
'By Atlanta standards, I'm actually considered skinny. New York Fashion Week standards, I'm definitely a curvy girl,' she said.
But after closing the show in a sexy red gown, her self-confidence was boosted.
'This is my world and it feels good to be home,' she said.

The episode also saw entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks taking on celebrity hair stylist Derek J as a legal client.
Derek went to Parks after being sued by a client who claimed he had 'stolen' her hair and replaced her weave with cheap, used locks.
'You can't be the hair burglar. I will gladly handle this for you,' Phaedra said.
Visiting his salon, she declared: 'Honey, I don't lose nothing but weight.'

Kandi Burruss, meanwhile, visited husband Todd Tucker in New York and went on a tour of the Bronx neighborhood where he grew up.
Todd took her to see his elementary school, his favourite pizza joint and even pointed out the spot where he lost his virginity.
But while Kandi enjoyed her slice of pizza, she was less impressed with the subway ride.

'Is that pee on the stairwell? It stinks,' she declared.
The newlyweds then had a heated conversation over dinner with Todd's mother Miss Sharon who was still upset at Kandi's mother Mama Joyce calling her a prostitute.
Miss Sharon, who died of a stroke earlier this month, threatened to punch Mama Joyce in the mouth next time she saw her.
