'I apologize to Ben Affleck's penis': Nancy Grace voices regret after failing to notice full frontal nude scene in Gone Girl

She inspired one of the main characters in the film Gone Girl.
And while it was not the most flattering portrayal of her, legal pundit Nancy Grace only has one regret when it comes to the crime thriller - and it has to do with nudity.
The 55-year-old engaged in a playful interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where she ended up discussing Ben Affleck's full frontal nude scene.

Sitting down for a chat with her onscreen counter party Missi Pyle - she plays a character inspired by Grace - the television personality discussed her thoughts on the film.
But halfway through the interview, Pyle asked: 'I'm wondering if you caught his "man part" in the movie?'
'I heard it made a turn in the movie,' Grace said. 'I'm assuming that was the shower scene. I'm sorry, I was too focused on the blood to notice Ben Affleck's penis, so I apologize to the penis because I did not notice it.'

The scene they were referring to shows the actor near the end of the film slip into a shower. Many viewers noticed that for a brief instant the actor's nethers are visible.
And Grace seemed perfectly aware of just how many Americans have now seen a bit of the hunky star's body, as she added: 'Has everyone in this country seen his penis but me? Am I the only one?'

Meanwhile, Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner explained the behind-the-scenes process of the nude scene on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Broaching the subject, Ellen, 56,, suggest the that the reason the drama directed by David Fincher is currently the box office favourite in the US has to do with his body confidence.
'Maybe the reason why it is number one is,' the comedienne said awkwardly before being cut off by Garner.

'His penis,' the actress shot in quickly.
Adding: 'I think you're probably onto something. And to be honest what I have to say is you're welcome.
'I try to consider myself a charitable person. You give me so much and I wanted to give something back to all of you,' she joked.
Ellen then asked: 'Is this the first time he has done full frontal nude in a film?'
'Outside of our...?' the brunette beauty said suggestively. 'Outside of our very racy (homemade) films?'
'Um, yes,' DeGeneres answered uncomfortably. Then moved on, asking: 'Did he, was he nervous about it? Were you nervous about it? Did you talk about it?'
'Yeah it was a discussion. He came home and was like "Hey, uh at work today Fincher talked me into walking out of the shower." and I was like "Oh, cool. I hope he had on a wide lens."'
