Gabi Grecko to be investigated by Victorian police for willful and obscene exposure after skipping naked through Melbourne's CBD

Gabi Grecko will be investigated by authorities after a video emerged of her skipping and twerking through Melbourne's CBD completely naked.

A spokesperson for Victoria police told Daily Mail Australia on Saturday that they are aware of the incident and will be examining whether charges of offensive behaviour or willful and obscene exposure are appropriate.

Grecko, 25, was seen by unsuspecting pedestrians including children when she took to Exhibition Street in nothing but a green wig, stiletto heels and a cathedral length veil in a stunt for Sneaky magazine.

The American model and fiancee of businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, 71, walked through Exhibition Street entering shopping centres and fast food restaurants 

Appearing on Nine News after footage of the spectacle was uploaded on YouTube, the model and fiancee of businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, 71, said she didn't mean to 'upset' police.

'I don't want to upset the Australian law enforcement I really have respect for them,' she explained. 

'To me it's fashion, to me it's art - to other people I'm naked on the street. I'm not ashamed of my body and I'm confident.'

The American national added that she hopes her actions may inspire young women to be more confident saying her supporters may think: 'If Gabi can walk around the street naked maybe I can pass this exam.'

In fact Grecko has already become somewhat of a role model to her dutiful social media followers with many applauding her actions and hailing her an an 'inspiration'.

In a lengthy post, one user wrote: 'You have given me the motivation to be one who honestly doesn't care what anyone thinks of me anymore.'

Others echoed the sentiment with user mummaofbraxandmase writing: 'You made me realise as imperfect to the world I am, or how different I may look, I'm beautiful in someone's eyes.'

Grecko leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination in video footage of the stunt.

Shocked pedestrians are caught gawking at the model's well-endowed figure while others whip out their smart phones to take a more permanent reminder of the event.

At one point sirens can be heard blaring in the background but Grecko appears to escape unnoticed saying: 'Woo we haven't got arrested yet!'

She is seen dancing outside of a restaurant while appalled diners look on and later meanders into a fast food joint.

Police are examining whether charges of offensive behaviour or willful and obscene exposure are appropriate 

Brushing past lines of customers she looks up at the menus above the counter before deciding: 'it's too unhealthy'.

While charges generally do not carry jail time, Grecko could face a hefty $590 fine. 

The eccentric social media personality recently had her Instagram account closed after she posted a series of topless photos in breach of the platform's no nudity or partial nudity policy. 

She has since opened a separate account where she often shares provocative images of her figure.
