It was revealed last week that Caroline Flack has split from her boyfriend Jack Street after more than a year of dating.
And
she hinted that it was not entirely amicable with a cryptic tweet in
response to Jack's friendly reminder to fans to vote for her in
Saturday's semi-final.
Jack wrote 'Vote for @carolineflack1 6225210. You'd be silly not too,' but according to heatworld, Caroline was not impressed and snapped back, '@jackb_street easing your guilt??? Fill yourself with glee jack.'

Not
such an amicable split: When Jack Street tweeted fans to tell them to
vote for his former girlfriend Caroline Flack on Strictly, she hit back
with a cryptic tweet about his 'guilt'
Delete: Caroline quickly deleted the tweet and replaced it with 'It's not bad to be sad'
She quickly deleted the tweet and replaced it with 'It's not bad to be sad.'
It's not entirely clear what Caroline is claiming Jack is guilty of.
The
revelation of Caroline's split came after the TV presenter - who danced
her way into the final last weekend - made her way into the Strictly
Come Dancing semi-final.
According to The Sun,
she was 'distraught' backstage at the BBC show, but managed to put on a
brave face to wow with her Tango and top the leader board during the
quarter finals to progress.
A source close to the 35-year-old told the newspaper: 'It came to a natural end and was mutual.'
But a Strictly insider added that 'backstage she was distraught' during filming of the episode.
Caroline
is the latest in a long line of stars to be thwarted by the 'Strictly
love curse', which has seen many a celebrity split over the years.
Some
contestants have ended relationships to engage in a romance with their
dance partner on the show, but the source noted that in Caroline's case,
this wasn't the reason.
Strong
pair: Caroline and her dance partner Pasha Kovalev are among the
favourites to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing after making it
through to the final
'No one else is involved,' they stated.
Caroline
had been seeing music manager Jack, 26, for around 18 months and she
recently even admitted that he was fine with her working on the talent
show despite its infamous knack for splitting couples.
'Jack's
been completely fine about the whole curse thing,' she reasoned, quoted
in The Mirror, adding that 'he hasn't once been worried'.
'If anything, doing the show has made our relationship better than ever because I'm happier. It's made me a happier person.
'It's
something so different to what I'm used to that he says it's brought
out a nicer side of me – not that I was bad before. But whatever
Strictly does to other couples, for whatever reason, it's done the
opposite to us.'
Newly single: Caroline has been
focusing on Strictly following the revelation that she has split up with
her boyfriend of more than a year, Jack Street
The
couple had been living together for some time, and Caroline had
previously opened up about telling him she loved him on their second
date.
The
former Xtra Factor host is dancing in this year's series with Pasha
Kovalev, who is currently dating his partner from last year Rachel
Riley.
The Countdown beauty notably left her husband at the time Jamie Gilbert to be with him.
Caroline's
former co-star, Sunetra Sarker - who was voted off the show just before
the quarter finals - separated from her husband in September, not long
before filming began.
Earlier
this year, Susanna Reid - who had appeared on the show in 2013 - split
from the father of her three children, Dominic Cotton, as well as Rachel
Riley, who made her split from her husband known in November.
Rachel is now dating her former partner Pasha Kovalev, who is currently dancing with Caroline on the show.
In
2009, boxer Joe Calzaghe left his girlfriend and started dating his
dance partner Kristina Rihanoff, but they separated after a few years
together.
And
it didn't end well for some of the couples that formed on the show,
such as 2010's Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev, who called time on
their romance earlier this year.
It's over: Caroline Flack and Jack
Street, pictured together at Glastonbury Festival this summer, had been
an item for 18 months... but are said to have parted ways and it doesn't
appear to be amicable
