He’s
currently training at Arsenal’s prestigious youth academy, but Brooklyn
Beckham put healthy pursuits to one side during a slap-up lunch with his
famous father.
The
15-year-old was joined by former Manchester United and Real Madrid
midfielder David, 39, for a post-match meal at the Temple Fortune branch
of Delisserie - a small Jewish restaurant chain - after another day of
intensive training.
In
posts added to his Vine account, Brooklyn sports an Arsenal tracksuit
top while leaning over a generous rack of chargrilled beef ribs and side
order of mashed potato, while David looks sheepish as he prepares to
tuck into a marginally lighter hot salt-beef sandwich on white bread.

The
usually health conscious star had cause to look a little camera shy
having also opted for a side order of latkes - a pan fried potato cake
containing an average 268 calories per 100 grams.
On
the beverage front Beckham looked to have selected a can of Diet Coke
to wash down his meal - despite having a long-term association with
fierce rivals Pepsi.
Clearly
a fan of the modest restaurant chain, which boasts four eateries across
North London, Beckham was paying his second visit in less than a
week.

bowl of chicken soup during his first.
Brooklyn,
his oldest child with fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham, is
currently honing his football skills with Arsenal’s London based
Academy, which has previously nurtured the mercurial talents of
midfielder Jack Wilshere.
David
– whose record of 115 international caps is yet to be beaten by an
outfield player – was later suited and booted for an appearance at The
Sun Military Awards.
The
sporting ambassador presented HMS Illustrious with the Hero Abroad
Awards to mark its decommissioning after 32 years of service.
Becks
handed the prize to Admiral Sir Jock Slater - the first skipper of the
ship known as Old Lusty - and Captain Mike Utley, her last.
That's more like it: David was back on form for an appearance at The Sun Military Awards in London on Wednesday evening
He said that our servicemen and women should 'please feel loved' as he added: 'It is truly humbling to be here tonight'
The Sun Military Awards are in their seventh year on Wednesday of celebrating the work carried out by servicemen and women.
Prince
Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall presented awards last year while
this year's ceremony marks the ending of combat operations in
Afghanistan with four specially created Afghan Heroes awards.
According
to gov.uk, these include, 'The Fire Fight: dealing with the intense
fighting on the front line and Bomb Disposal: highlighting the
contribution of the teams dealing with the improvised explosive device
threat.
Awards
for 'Saving Lives: paying tribute to the work of the medical teams in
supporting troops from front line to rehab and Mentoring: recognising
the work of the service personnel who have mentored and trained the
Afghan Forces,' are also included.
