They are rumoured to have fallen out over both dating John Mayer.
And although Taylor Swift and Katy Perry managed to carefully ignore one another at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, it looked as though history could have been repeating itself.
Taylor was seen getting close to Katy’s on/off beau Diplo at the Warner Music afterparty, held at Chateau Marmont late on Sunday evening.

Both Taylor and Diplo were locked in an ugly feud last year, after the DJ tweeted that ‘someone should make a Kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty’.
Diplo was dating Katy at the time, and many saw his comments as further proof that the two pop stars are sworn enemies.
One of Taylor’s BFFs Lorde was quick to jump to her defense, suggesting Diplo had a ‘tiny penis’.

However, it looks as though that is all water under the bridge now, as Diplo posted an Instagram snap of himself and Taylor at the party.
‘Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff #grammys2015,’ Diplo captioned the image.
Let’s just hope Katy Perry doesn't mind the pair getting close.
While it seems Katy and Diplo might be 'off' again - the pair have rarely spoken about their relationship, and prefer to keep things low key.
Diplo - real name Thomas Wesley Pentz - arrived at the event with Madonna, who he worked with on her new album Rebel Heart.
