'Best date ever for the Grammys': Meghan Trainor is all about the party as she dances into the night with her dad after double Grammy loss

As a newcomer to the Grammys, Meghan Trainor made sure she had a night to remember, despite not winning an award.
The 21-year-old partied into the night with her Grammy date, her father Gary Trainor, at the I Am Other Adidas Grammy party to celebrate Pharrell Williams at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The singer-songwriter changed out of her sheer, off-the-shoulder Galia Lahav gown that she wore to the 57th Annual Grammy Awards show and into a more comfortable classic shimmery blazer with black bustier and black mini skirt.

And the All About That Bass hitmaker certainly appeared to have the time of her life as she danced at the star-studded after party with her father, who is a music teacher and jewelry store owner.
She posted on Instagram: 'Best date ever for the Grammys @garytrainor.'
Meghan spoke to Entertainment Tonight regarding her most memorable moments.

'There are so many highlights,' she said. 'Last night I got to perform with John Legend my song Like I'm Gonna Lose You with him at the gala in front of all these stars.
'The only way to explain it is it's like a movie. I'm the star of this movie and I've got front row seats.'
During the show, the 5ft2in blue-eyed soul singer also served presenting duties alongside Nick Jonas, awarding the best country album to Miranda Lambert.
