So when Kim Kardashian noticed her Jean Paul Gaultier gold and silver gown - which husband Kanye West picked out for her - had fallen apart just moments before she was to step onto the red carpet in LA on Sunday evening, the beauty was understandably frazzled.
'Basically, my pocket fell off — the whole pocket fell off,' the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed during a Grammy after party show.

One of these pockets had fallen off: Safety pins were used to keep it in place
The E! standout added, 'When I sat it ripped and we were sewing and safey-pinning.'
By the time the Vogue cover girl got in front of photographers, the pocket looked just fine, though her belt appeared to be attached in a strange fashion with a string.
Later, her dress looked like it may have had problems in the front as several clasps were undone.
All in all, the entire outfit - as beautiful as it was - kept looking like it was about to fall off her.
The mother to daughter North nearly stole the red carpet from singer Beyonce (who wore a plunging black dress) and Katy Perry (in a see-through white mini dress) as well as Taylor Swift (who chose a quirky green dress) and Iggy Azalea (a bit dull in a blue number).

She won a lot of points: The 34-year-old reality star stood out for her sexy, if unusual look; some critics said it looked like she was wearing a bathrobe
Kim explained how her spouse chose the dress.
'He saw this online at a couture show and sent me the picture and said, "Babe do you like this dress?"' she said.
'He called the designer, gets it and it’s sitting my dressing room. I’m the luckiest woman alive.'

While appearing on Khloe's E! After The Grammys show, West gushed about how stunning his wife looked.
'Never before in our lives have we witnessed such beauty,' the Stronger singer said.
'Beauty is important. The Kardashains wouldn't be famous if beauty wasn't important.'
