Jessie J shocked fans by taking to her Twitter account for a furious ranting session on Friday.
The
usually tight-lipped 26-year-old was left fuming when fans inundated
her boyfriend Luke James with viscous messages on Instagram.
After
accusing her followers of 'spreading lies' and 'creating drama', the
star explained exclusively to MailOnline what caused her to behave so
out of character and vent her frustrations so publicly.

'I hope Luke is The One,' she confessed.
'I'd
be pretty p****d off if these rumours that we'd broken up were true -
but we haven't. Luke is amazing and he and I are amazing.
'Reading
lies about yourself isn't something that anyone should ever get used
to. Hopefully one day, this kind of thing will be made illegal.
'It's
really frustrating because that kind of behaviour creates negativity,
which creates story which some people then choose to believe. Wouldn’t
it annoy you if people were making up stories about your relationship?
'What I tweeted, I meant. I had to tell some of the fans that sending mean messages is not okay. It was my duty.
'Sometimes
you just have to be honest and open. And that's the great thing about
Twitter, it's my own platform to set the record straight.'

The star then seemed to hint that her romance with Luke is slowly becoming increasingly more serious.
Looking
to the future, she admitted: 'Of course, there is going to come a time
when I will take a step back from music to concentrate on other things.
'Do
I want children? Of course I do. I don't know how many I want to have
but whatever God decides to bless me with, I will give my all to.
'I've been spending a lot of time with my mother because no one is a better example of a mum than her.'
Luckily for fans, Jessie added that she does not plan to give up her career once she become a mother.
While
she acknowledges that it can difficult for a women to juggle a career
with raising a family, the star confidentially insisted that it was
still possible.
