Cheryl Fernandez-Versini pokes fun at her Newcastle roots in hilarious spoof for Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway

She has come a long way from her modest roots in the north of England.
But, for one night only, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has publicly embraced all the cliches of her home city in a self-deprecating comedy spoof.
The Crazy Stupid Love star can be seen playfully poking fun her Newcastle roots in Ant and Dec's ITV1 show Saturday Night Takeaway.

Starring in a new instalment of I’m A Celebrity…Get Out Of Me Ear, the chart-topper was given both an ear-piece and instructions by the TV host duo - who then told her to repeat exactly what they said.
Filmed on location, Cheryl met with a series of estate agents who were told she was planning to sell one of her homes, but unknown to the punters, Ant & Dec were calling the shots.
Viewers will see both Cheryl and the estate agents surprised by what’s kept in the fridge when TV’s favourite duo set about causing mischief.

In one clip she opens the fridge door Cheryl is greeted by a picture of Louis Walsh.
In another she is seen to have stocked up on a bulk-load of meat and potato pies, while a third shows her stocking a single bottle of Newcastle brown ale.
Wearing a denim shirt with her formerly-long locks parted into a cascade of curls, the scenes were clearly recorded before she underwent a close-cropped, chic bob.
Viewers can see the full sketch on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, 28th March at 7pm.
