Tiannah styling stuns with Elegante Kidz at Africa Fashion Week

It was a fashion Fest at Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2015 Fashion lovers were wowed and kept asking for more when serial Entrepreneur and CEO Toyin Lawani of Tiannah styling showcased Elegante Kids - The Gladys collection.

The runway came alive with breathtaking outfits as kids strutted. Celebrity kids such as Amarachi, Tiannah, Lordmaine, Tega okojevoh, Tallulah. Amongst others pushed the audience out of their seats, they screamed, clapped and clamoured for more.

Amarachi and Tiannah opened the show confidently as they walked the runway and did a full split, other kids danced shoki, struck amazing poses and came with a full dose of swag while Amarachi Uyanne the 2015 winner of Nigeria's Got Talent sang.

This was definitely the talk of the first show. The Iro and Buba evolution by Toyin Lawani showcased on. The second day at the Gala night was mind blowing. Toyin Lawani's collection at Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2015 was undoubtedly the highlight of the show. It was indeed a night to remember.

If women can wear jeans and t-shirts meant for men and no one bats an eye, men should be able to wear whatever tops and bottoms they want as well. Gender norms and the fear that if everyone does not respect and place masculinity on a pedestal the world will fall apart is just old, tired, and sexist.

And as Jaden pointed out in the post above, women’s clothes are just clothes. Why does a piece of cloth that covers your body need a gender?

Words of wisdom to the men reading this: clothes from the women’s section are cheaper, you’re much less likely to see another guy wearing them, and there is so much more variety! If you have never gotten a top from the women’s section, you’re missing out!
