attracting stars from across the globe.
And
when they join their new clubs, star players will often make their
homes in the best neighbourhoods, buying mansions and penthouses kitted
out to their personal tastes.
The
results are varied from the garish to the classic; from ostentatious
shows of phenomenal wealth to understated beauty designed by top
architects.
Here MailOnline presents
nine homes which have been lived in by Premier League footballers and
managers, but can you guess who the owners are? Answers at the bottom of
the article.
Property No 1 - This Surrey mansion
was bought for £4.35m in December 2014. The seven-bedroom house used to
be owned by a professional golfer before falling into the hands of a
current Premier League star who earns £170,000 a week

the Premier League club

Property No 4 - The former Premier
League hardman sold this lavish 100-year-old Ipswich mansion for just
over £2.9m in January this year after initially putting the house up for
sale in May 2014

£3.6million. The father-of-two is selling the luxury mansion while he
focuses on his new life abroad

Cheshire home for sale with Rightmove as he continues his work abroad.
The property boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, his and hers dressing
rooms, a swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna and a large garden

Property No 6 - This five-bedroom
house situated in Stockport, Cheshire was put up for sale for £899,950
in March 2012, three years after the high-profile footballer sealed a
big-money move away from the Premier League

The footballer decided to kit out his
conservatory, which looks out to the 'fabulous gardens' set behind an
electronic remote control gate

Property No 7 - The owner of this
house decided to put the six-bedroom pad in Bowdon on the market for
£2.75million in June this year
