She's no stranger to controversy, having regularly hit the headlines over the years with her antics both on and off the stage.
However,
this time Sinead O'Connor is targeting Kim Kardashian after the Irish
singer launched a foul-mouthed rant at the reality star.
After
discovering a photo of Kim had ended up on the cover of music magazine
Rolling Stone, Sinead questioned what the socialite had to do with
music.
Foul-mouthed
rant: Sinead O'Connor hit out at Kim Kardashian in a Facebook rant
after discovering the reality star was on the cover of Rolling Stone
magazine
Controversial: Sinead O'Connor
expressed her horror at Kim Kardashian appearing on the cover of Rolling
Stone magazine in a rant on her Facebook page
She
even goes as far to blame the respected publication for 'murdering'
music, declaring Bob Dylan would be 'f**king horrified'.
Posting
a shot of the July 16-30 issue on her Facebook page, Sinead wrote:
'What is this c**t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?
'Music
has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered
it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all
the blame. Bob Dylan must be f**king horrified.'
The 48-year-old then asks her fans to boycott the magazine, signing off with the hashtag: '#BoycottRollingStone.'
Cover girl: Kim was an unusual choice for the respected music magazine's cover
Of course, Kim isn't the first star to be criticised by Sinead.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer has previously slammed Miley Cyrus's behaviour in 2013 and 2014.
Last
year, Sinead posted an image of a scantily-clad Miley with her mouth
full of dollar bills under the caption: 'Does Anyone Know The
Whereabouts Of this Girl's Parents?'
In
the post she claims Miley's parents are 'missing in action', adding:
'No human being on earth would be photographing, filming or watching my
child-like looking daughter dressed as a stripper with a load of cash
stuck in her mouth.'
Glamour girl: Kim, who is pregnant with her second child, was pictured out for dinner in Los Angeles on Monday evening
The
Irish singer criticised the music industry for the 'sexualising of
minors', as she claimed Miley is 'unconsciously' doing the same.
She signs off by saying the sexualised behaviour by certain artists make for a 'double win for an industry crawling with evil'.
In 2013, she also accused Simon Cowell and The X Factor of ruining the industry.
She
said: ‘I feel sorry for the murder of rock 'n' roll which has happened
because of the industry. Because of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and the
lot of them (talent show judges) have murdered music.
'They're murderers of music! I stand and say it on behalf of every musician in the world and they will all agree with it.'
