'I slept with your bird, so who's the mug?' Frank Major has the last laugh as love rival Charlie Sims is left seething after club showdown in TOWIE

A convoluted TOWIE love triangle came to a head on Wednesday with an angry confrontation during a lads night out - but it was sharp-tongued Frank Major who walked away the victor after dismissively referring to love rival Charlie Sims as 'Junior.'
The businessman was a surprise addition to the Essex outing with Charlie and close pals Mario Falcone, Ricky Rayment, James 'Arg' Argent, James 'Diags' Bennewith and Tom Pearce.
Arriving in his trademark suit, Frank cut an unwelcome figure as he made an entrance at local nightspot The Villa.

‘Nice night and that pr**k turns up,’ griped Mario, who later admitted he intended to remain celibate for a month.

But while Charlie had the backing of his pals, he was left seething after a barbed putdown by Frank during a confrontation at the bar over Ferne McCann.
‘What I can’t get over is this b****ing,' said Frank, getting straight to the point. 'You treated her like s**t – when I met Fern she was in tatters.'

‘Fern might like you but she’ll always love me,' said Charlie. 'I think if anyone’s getting played it’s you, you’re a mug.’
‘But I slept with your bird, so who’s the mug?' Frank responded after referring to the 21-year-old as junior.
With the businessman promptly snatching his drink and walking away victorious, Charlie was left seething at the bar.

The day began Wednesday began with Tom opening up to Arg and love rival Diags about his plan to woo TOWIE newcomer Fran Parman, who he previously enjoyed a one night stand with in Ibiza.
‘The only way it worked is that Fran liked you a little bit more, and you a little bit less,’ joked Arg.
Meanwhile Danielle Armstrong was having a heart to heart with pal Jessica Wright following her confrontation with boyfriend James Lock – who was left red faced confessed to tweeting other girls.

‘He thinks he’s done a big thing,’ she said. ‘I honestly think that even if the rumours were true I probably wouldn’t leave him’
Elsewhere newbie Fran was enjoying a pampering session with friends Grace Andrews and Georgia Kousoulou at local nail clinic The Bar.
Opening up about the complicated situation with Diags and Tom she said: ‘It’s so weird, I can’t get my head round it. None of them have said anything to me, I’ve just been left in the dark about it.’

But she wasn’t the only one embroiled in a complicated love triangle, as Jasmin Walia was keen to point out during a heart to heart with Frank Major, who was updating her on the ‘Fran and Charlie situation' long before their confrontation that evening.
‘I just feel that sometimes they use other people to wind each other up,’ said Jasmin. ‘You’ve literally got yourself involved in an Essex love triangle.’
James later attempted to atone with Danielle by giving her an ultimatum.

‘How do you feel about the house situation,’ he said. ‘I’m 27, I feel like I want to move out of my parents pad.’
But Danielle was concerned about him moving into a bachelor pad.
‘If you love me you’ve got to respect me and wait for a little bit,’ she said. ‘Am I worth it or not?’
There was some afternoon bubbly on tap for the girls - plus Bobby - when they stepped out for a ‘boy free’ evening of pampering at a local spa – but boys were the hot topic of conversation as they dwelled on their imminent lads night out.
‘Considering what you’re going through do you think Lockie will go?’ mused Jess.
‘He’ll be stupid if he does,’ said Danielle.

Not so – the man in question was giving serious thought to hitting the clubs with Dan Osborne and the lads.
‘You can come with us and pull loads of birds,’ joked the hunk.
Jokes were the order of the day for Charlie during a day out with pals Mario Falcone and Ricky Rayment – at the expense of nemesis Frank.
‘He reckons himself as a womaniser but he’s changed his ways,’ he said. ‘Anybody who looks like that isn’t a womaniser.
‘He’s a cash man,’ added Mario.

‘When I heard the name Frank Major I thought this must be a powerful man, but looks don’t quite match up,’ joked Charlie.
The pals soon linked up with James, who admitted Danielle was ‘p***ed off’ with his supposed cheating.
‘My ears are burning now,’ he said.
Meanwhile Tom attempted to woo Fran with a bouquet of flowers – but the ploy failed to impress.
‘I don’t understand you’re trying to f**k your best friend over,’ she said. ‘You’re not going to sweet-talk me, it’s not going to work.’

‘It’s not my fault that my mate likes a girl I’ve been with,’ he said.
But his pleas fell on deaf ears, with Fran admitting things between her and Diags were ‘really awkward.’
Over at the spa Danielle told the girls she was keen to keep James waiting before she made a decision about moving in.
'Of course I want to move in with him, I love him, I adore him, but I want him to sweat a little bit,' she said.
But while she opened up about her feelings for James it was clear Bobby was holding onto a secret, and he bit his lips as the blonde announced: 'When it comes to the cheating side of it, my gut tells me he hasn’t.’
