'I love you more:' Lea Michele reveals Cory Monteith's last words to her as she releases heartbreaking tribute track If You Say So

Seven months after the tragic passing of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, her debut album is almost due for release.
And Lea Michele showed just what an emotional ride the making of Louder must have been as she debuted a heart-wrenching tribute ballad to her lost love, entitled If You Say So.
The 27-year-old revealed that the title of the song represent the last words Cory said to her before he died of a drug overdose in July 2013.

The ballad, which Lea co-wrote with Australian singer/songwriter Sia Furler, sees Lea pouring her heart out about the week that followed Cory's tragic death.
'It's been seven whole days without your embrace, I wanna see your face, I've got some things to say,' she croons.

'It's just a week ago, you said I love you girl. I said I love you more. And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so,' Lea continues, opening up to her fans and listeners.

The track continues: 'I can't believe it's true, I keep looking for you, I check my phone and wait to hear from you, and now I never know if all I've been told is just a lie so bold.

'I thought that we'd grow old. Mirrors in the smoke, left me here to choke.'
But the triple-threat star put on a brave face as she celebrated her successes whilst iTunes began to stream her brand new album ahead of its in-store release.

Dressed in tight and sexy black leather trousers, a sheer white shirt and a classy black blazer thrown over the top, Lea looked every bit the music sensation she is about to become.

She teamed the chic ensemble with edgy black cut-out boots and styled her long brunette tresses in elegant curls around her pretty, well made-up face.

As she clutched a copy of her album Louder in her hands, the Glee star looked as proud as punch of the piece of work she's been working so hard on for so long.
'Great night last night at @PulseRecording for my #LOUDER listening session!' Lea wrote alongside an Instagram collage which revealed her sitting before a small audience at the intimate recording venue in Los Angeles.

After what must have been an emotional occasion for the Broadway star, she later met up with her friend and former Glee co-star Jonathan Groff for a little down-time.
Lea posted an Instagram snap documenting their outing together, in which they can both be seen wearing matching 'surfboard' shirts and sharing a beverage in a booth.

'Celebrating (in matching #Surfboard sweatshirts) a season 2 pick up for @LookingHBO! So happy for JG and the cast!' she wrote in a caption alongside the photo.
