of Fame songwriter and singer Richie Sambora has a new woman now -
Australian superstar Orianthi - but he has produced and recorded the
No. 1 1960's hit “I Got You Babe” on his up and coming album for his
former lover, Cher.

55, who was Cher’s lover and live-in boyfriend in the late 80’s when
Sambora was writing and performing back-to-back world tours with Bon
Jovi.

and Cher released the top ten duet classic 50 years ago today - on July
9th 1965. It was the the top of the US Billboard Chart as well as No.1
in the United Kingdom and Canada for three weeks.
Insiders say record executives who have heard the remake have been blown away.
