Shirley Carter has certainly gained a few nuclear family members in the last four months.
Since
revealing that Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is her biological son thus
inheriting all of his children on EastEnders at Christmas, Shirley is
soon to discover that she has another 'secret' granddaughter.
Fans
look set to see the 52-year-old, played by Linda Henry, go and track
down the child after she learns that Shabnam Masood (Rakhee Thakrar)
gave birth to her son Dean Wicks' (Matt Di Angelo) child after a one
night stand.
She means business: Shirley Carter
(Linda Henry) will go in search of her secret granddaughter in some
upcoming episodes of EastEnders
Feisty: The actress has been pictured
turning up at the house of the foster family where Dean Wicks and
Shabnam Masood's secret child is expected to live
The
child is thought to have been fostered after Shabnam abandoned the
child on a doorstep in 2008 - nine months after having sex with Dean in a
club toilet.
Shirley,
finding out that her family just grew by one more member, is determined
to find the little girl and visits her foster mother and father in an
upcoming episode.
Pictures of the latest scene, sees Shirley arrive on a residential estate holding an address written on a piece of white paper.
Is this the secret child? The child is
thought to have been abandoned in 2008 by Shabnam, after an intimate
night in the toilets with Dean
Abandoned: The little girl is seen in her school uniform inside her foster family's home
Going
in full throttle in her leather knee high boots, the feisty grandmother
knocks on the unsuspecting parent's door shouting 'I want to see my
grandaughter' and barging in.
It
is thought that she is preceded by Massood (Nitin Ganatra), who turns
up at the house with his friend Jane Beale (Laurie Brett), looking for
the little girl too.
But when they don't get an answer, the foster parent is later spotted returning after picking the child up from school.
