She is one of the most bubbly pop stars among today's hitmakers.
But Katy Perry admits to feeling on edge about performing for one of the biggest crowds of her career at the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show. Last year 111.5 million viewers tuned in.
The 30-year-old made the revelation in ESPN magazine's February issue for which she appeared on the cover with football player JJ Watt. 'I don't get nervous about much, but I'll definitely be a little tingly inside that day,' the Roar singer said.

The beauty is on the cover of the magazine alongside Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt for its Music Issue. She wore a cropped black, white and champagne-colored graphic top that revealed only a hint of her toned tummy.
Her raven waves cascaded down her back and she had on a generous amount of makeup as she flashed a smile while applying black lipstick under the athlete's eyes - resembling greasepaint NFL players commonly wear during their games.
And while the pro football player of four years will not appear on the field at the Super Bowl on February 1, it is the I Kissed A Girl singer who will - in a 12-and-a-half-minute performance.

The California Gurl joins an intimidating boldface roster of past halftime show entertainers like Beyonce, Madonna, Bruno Mars, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Paul McCartney and U2 that she will be weighed against, but she welcomes the challenge.
'Honestly? I feel like I've outdreamt my dream,' she said.
The 25-year-old athlete, who sat with the songbird during the interview, added: 'She's playing in a bigger game than I've ever gotten to play in. I'm hoping to someday be in those shoes.'
But she won't be alone. Lenny Kravitz will be featured as a special guest - and there is always room for a surprise on-stage visitor.

Ahead of the game, Idina Menzel will belt out The Star-Spangled Banner and John Legend will sing America The Beautiful.
The event will be more than a Teenage Dream for the songbird, who began training at an early age with the same voracity as the sportsmen who will be vying for the national title.
'Everybody would be going about their business, and then all of a sudden their heads would turn when I would start singing,' she said of discovering her talent at age nine with her evangelist parents.
'It was this magic trick that I had. I guess I loved that attention. And I went for it,' she said.

'But when I was singing into a hairbrush, I had no idea the incredible amount of work that would be asked of me in order to be at this level.'
On Saturday, the Roar singer took the stress of the upcoming big day with good humor, tweeting: 'Playing so many bowls this year. So scressful.'
She included a link to Animal Planet's annual Puppy Bowl counter-game that airs during the Super Bowl.
The program will feature a feline performer in her likeness named Katty Furry.

The big night might prove to be an awkward reunion for Katy.
Nearly three years ago, she was reportedly 'ignored' at the Super Bowl by Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen after the six-time titleholder lost to the NY Giants.
It was reported at the time that when she attempted to meet the power-couple they quickly zipped off.

'Katy Perry came bouncing by and tried to catch their attention,' Yahoo revealed. 'They either didn’t notice, or simply chose to ignore her.'
However, when the New England Patriots quarterback leads his team against the Seattle Seahawks at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the singer will not go unnoticed this time around.
