Robert Pattinson took new girlfriend FKA Twigs to his parents in posh Barnes, West London, for Christmas. 

Despite her wacky look, Mr and Mrs Pattinson far prefer 26-year-old English singer FKA (real name Tahliah Barnett), to Kristen Stewart, 28-year-old Robert's American ex and co-star in Twilight. 

'FKA is not as clean-cut,' says a family friend, 'but that makes her more fun, and Robert can get very serious.'

The pair spent New Year's Eve at trendy London hotspot The Russet.

It seems out of character for clumsy comic Miranda Hart to have chartered a flashy super-yacht in the Med. But the comedienne, whose popular sitcom ended on New Year’s Day, did not entirely leave her old ways behind.

‘I attempted to sleep on a long, sausage-shaped French pillow and tried many a way to make it work,’ she told Tatler. ‘Including, for my friend’s amusement, lying on top of it in an inappropriate manner. At which point, the housekeeper barged in to see me essentially mounting her pillow.’
