Jodie Kidd's husband of four months, David Blakeley, has been granted a divorce.
The
former supermodel's estranged partner was given a 'quickie' decree of
judicial separation in just 45 seconds on Friday morning on the grounds
of her 'unreasonable behaviour'.
District
Judge Judy Gibson granted the 34-year-old best-selling author a formal
dissolution of the marriage after ruling the couple's union had
irretrievably broken down and he could no longer reasonably be expected
to live with her.
It's over: Jodie Kidd's husband of
four months, David Blakeley (pictured with the former supermodel in
September 2014) was granted a 'quickie divorce' in London on Friday
morning
Neither
Jodie, 36, nor her ex-husband were at the Central Family Court in
London when his petition in their full names of David Michael Blakeley v
Jodie Elizabeth Kidd headed a list of 15 undefended cases.
In court papers, Blakeley ticked the box marked 'yes' when asked if Jodie’s unreasonable behaviour was continuing.
When
asked if he had lived with The Jump star for a period of more than six
months, the former soldier ticked the box marked 'no'.
This
marks a second divorce for 36-year-old mother of one Jodie, who was
previously married to internet entrepreneur Aidan Butler.
In happier times: Blakeley, 34,
pictured with Jodie and her son Indio, three, from a previous
relationship, was given a decree of judicial separation in just 45
seconds on the grounds of her 'unreasonable behaviour'
Her first marriage lasted 18 months, until the couple parted ways in 2007.
The model went on to have son Indio, now three, with Argentinian polo player Andrea Vianini, in September 2011.
Jodie
and David announced their engagement in January 2014 after a whirlwind
courtship, with the pair tying the knot at a small church in West Sussex
seven months later in August 2014.
The couple's split was confirmed by the model in December, just four months after their happy day.
Jodie
has remained relatively tight-lipped about the breakdown of her
marriage, but explained she was simply 'keeping busy' to deal with her
heartache.
She
said: 'I'm just going to keep very busy. That's the answer, I think.
I'm very positive. You have to be, because what doesn't kill us makes us
stronger.'
